very proud of her.

If I could say only one thing about Amanda it would be this
. . . she makes it so easy to love her!! She is
definitely one of the many clients that we hold especially
close to our hearts.

About Amanda . . .
Amanda is a 30 year old
stay-at-home mother of 3 boys age 10, 9 and 9 months. Needless to
say,
she stays busy raising those boys. At the Race for Life, Amanda's
oldest son won his category in the 1 Mile Fun Run and we were all so
happy for him. When asked to describe herself, Amanda responded "I
am a mom - one of the greatest things I dreamed of being." While a
stay-at-home mom at the moment, Amanda states that one of her goals
this year is to get into the workforce. Equipped with an Associates
Degree in Child and Family Development, Amanda is looking to one day
reach her goal of becoming a Family Advocate. Her goal over the
course of the next 3 years is to complete a Bachelors degree and
pursue her dream job of helping children and families. Currently,
in addition to the normal challenges many moms face, Amanda finds
herself challenged to "find time for herself, individual time for
each child and getting back into school." Her plan to overcome
these challenges . . . through her "faith in God". Certainly, we
have no problem encouraging her toward a deeper faith in God as she
overcomes these challenges. Since coming to the center for the first
time in January 2008, Amanda states that her biggest benefit from
the PHC is the "feeling of friends and someone I can trust to talk
to about anything." We have all certainly enjoyed the mutual
friendship of Amanda. To YOU, for your prayerful and financial
support, Amanda says this, "Please continue to share your support.
It is working and helps families, especially moms, more than you
will every know. God bless you . . and thank you from the bottom
of my grateful heart." We Thank You, too!!
