The
Race for Life is a day filled with safe, family fun and friendly
competition to raise support for the ultrasound program at the
Pregnancy
Help
Center.
By offering an
ultrasound to every client who receives a positive pregnancy
screening, we are able to verify a viable living pregnancy and
introduce mom and baby for the first time.
This effort, even at an early stage, can confirm a
beating hear and thus encourage a woman to choose life for her
unborn baby. The
ultrasound program is in need of additional medical supplies,
on-going training for our current ultrasound technician and
funds to send our new Nurse Manager to limited obstetrical
ultrasound training.
Our need is to raise $17,000 for a new
ultrasound machine.
